Infants, children and adolescents commonly present with trauma to dental and/or oral structures for various reasons. Traumatic injuries to teeth can range from simple fractures of teeth to luxation injuries. In all cases, proper diagnosis, treatment planning, suitable immediate management and long term follow up, is crucial to the long-term prognosis of the involved teeth. While there is a wealth of literature dealing with the management of dental trauma, updated evidence-based guidelines have proven to be an essential resource for every clinician to have at their fingertips. This webinar will discuss the recently published dental trauma guidelines by the International Association of Dental Traumatology.
